trail: steep in the beginning, gradual towards the lookout. we started from the bear mountain-beacon highway.
views/weather: the temperature was warm. no clouds, gentle wind. you can see bear mountain, dunderberg mountain, the hudson river, the bear mountain bridge, snake island, hessian pond.
notes: thought i was going to the yankee game right after this then didn't. saw a hawk or eagle gliding off the face of the cliff, pretty close to us.
